Captain Jack's is a concept design based on the popular film: The Pirates of the Caribbean. The idea was inspired the movie, however, I wanted to take this popular franchise and reimagine it as a modern day themed restaurant.

Style Guide & Moodboard
Moodboard for Captain Jack's Seafood & Grill
My search for inspiration took a unique route for this project. Instead of referring to other designs, I focused on patterns, textures, scenes, and of course one of my favorite movies: Pirates of the Caribbean.
The keywords that would guide my search as I assembled my board included the following:
- Rope
- Treasure Chest
- Mermaids
- Telescopes
- Swords
- Parrot
- Barrel
- Flags
- Ships
- Skulls
- Rum
- Coins/Gold
My goal for the final design was to resemble an open map with the menu items placed among treasure trails. The front and back cover showcases a ripped flag, revealing the "map" underneath.
